Id like to say that im glad its the weekend but I actually think my weekends are harder going than the week days! But I love them all the same; me, both my boys and the hubby at home altogether 🙂 This weekend we are staying home and relaxing after the busy weekends of late!
Before I crack on with this weeks WWLE, we can’t escape the fact that its Red Nose Day today. Wriggler is dressing for the day at school in Red, he’s going in character as Jet-ray from Ben10. He’s also taking part in loads of different FUNdraising events throughout the day. At Wriggler’s school this year, it’s a double fundraiser, there is Comic Relief and they are also raising money for a little boy at the school who has recently been diagnosed with brain tumor. He needs to go to America for some pioneering treatment. It was going to cost a pound for the dress down event but, this morning Wriggler asked if he could take a pound for Comic Relief and a pound for the little boy… Thats my boy!! 🙂
This is my #WWLE for this week
It’s a whole family Wanting this week… We want the Trampoline up!! The weather was so miserable last weekend and its been cold and windy all week. We are wanting some nicer weather this weekend so we can get it up so the boys can enjoy it. I’m looking forward to having a bounce too 😉
Following on from my amazing ‘Elemis Facial’ which was part and parcel of my ‘Sheer Luxury Spa Day’ on Mother Day. I discovered that Cosmopolitan magazine was giving away miniatures of Elemis Fresh Skin. Its been lovely to carry on that luxurious skin feeling that I left the spa with last Sunday. It’s a shame they are only miniatures, they’re about to run out any day now 😦
This week the boys discovered Ghostbusters! A classic film from years gone by. I think the boys love it as much as I did when I was their age. They have been watching the 2nd film, which in my personal opinion is the better film. Wriggler has even made himself a proton pack with an old rucksack and toy gun 😀 This picture was taken at probably the favorite part for both Wriggler and Bruiser, where the ghost train drives through the Ghostbusters on the subway tunnels when they’re looking for the River of Slime!
Not so much of an eating but a drinking! This last week had been hard going on the sleep front. Whilst I usually drink tea, this week has seen me reaching for a stronger pick-me-up… coffee!! I’m not a huge coffee fan and find the taste of instant rather an acquired taste. But I made a little discovery the other day, Coffee Mate. I remember my Nan used to buy this. It’s what made her coffee’s so lovely and creamy!
